Pran Bayu: The Story Behind My First Single

Pran Bayu was my first single, and it still holds a special place for me — not because it did anything spectacular commercially, but because of what it represents: the very beginning.

The song exists because of Tanjim Reza. He was the one who pushed me toward it, who believed there was something worth recording before I was fully convinced myself. That kind of encouragement matters more than people realize when you're starting out.

We shot the video in Sylhet, and there's something about that landscape that felt right for the mood of the song. It wasn't a big production, but everyone who worked on it treated it like one.

Looking back, what I remember most isn't any single moment from the shoot — it's how supportive the whole team was, start to finish. That's the thing about a first single: you don't really know what you're doing yet, and you need people around you who believe in it anyway.
